Gabrielle Diaz is a graphic designer born and raised in Mississauga. She graduated from the University of Toronto and Sheridan College earning her BA, double majoring in Art & Art History and Communication, Culture and Information Technologies (CCIT). 

She often combines her practices with photography and sculpture. As she aspire to work in the field of advertising and graphic design, Gabrielle’s work often explores themes of the mainstream media’s effect on her well being and the involuntary memories that she experiences throughout a daily basis. She works with found objects, corrupted image files, pixilated images and surrealist-like imagery to illustrate her experiences.
